"Our daughter Chelsie has been riding for about 4 years now, and most of these years were spent on her old TB Vinny, She is a keen jumper but as a result to Vinny's 21^st birthday she hit a pause button on the jumping; so we decided it was time to start looking for another horse, Another challenge.

She had been combing the internet for some time searching for her perfect horse. As she explained to us multiple times “He” Had to be Big, Beautiful, Affectionate and Black. We called the number and left a message-with two attempts of my number which I somehow managed to get wrong. Twice. Julie and her husband took the time to go through their phone and track us down-that alone astounded me, and it only got better from there.
Julie put my mind at ease completely about buying a horse sight-unseen, which previously I never would of dreamed of. After the deposit was received Julie offered to have someone ride “Al” For a week to make sure he was absolutely right for our 14 yr old which held no benefits for Julie.

We thank her dearly for all the time she spent with phone calls and emails, which convinced us he was the right horse for us. She demonstrates an obvious love for her horses and a deep knowledge of every one.

So 'Big Al”-Now Storm. Has become a much loved member of our family he has settled in beautifully with his new life and he’s formed a great friendship with Vinny and the dream of a very lucky girl has come true.
Julie has also offered to look out for the right saddle for Storm when the time is right for us to buy, I cant say I have ever come across anyone so dedicated in their work and customer service both before and after a sale has been finalised.

We would highly recommend Julie to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to contact her again if in need of another horse in the future.

As a Psychologist I am usually the one identifying those to whom the word “crazy” could be applied, however my recent purchase of a Clydesdale mare sight unseen from Tuilodge recently rendered the tables turned.

In my excitement at my “childhood dream come true” I enthusiastically sent photos to friends and family of my new girl Lilly, only to be rewarded with statements like “Are you crazy buying a horse sight unseen?”, “What are you thinking?” and my mother’s all time favourite “It is going to end in tears” . I can only guess their concern was heightened as I live in Tasmania- she had a long way to travel.

What they weren’t privy to was my almost daily contact with Julie in the weeks leading up to my decision and sometimes twice daily contact after. Phone calls and emails flew across state boundaries and no question was left unanswered, and each was answered honestly

Several months down the track and Lilly is everything, and more, Julie promised me. A HUGE thank you to Tuilodge for making my dream comes true.

Buying a pony unseen when all i have to go off is 1 photo can be a daunting and overwhelming experience for the best of us. However after several lengthy conversations with Julie, my mind was put to rest that my new pony would be just what i need..... Quiet, safe, trainable and fun.

Although i am quite a competent rider, confidence is not a great strength of mine so needless to say my stomach was in my mouth the first time i jumped on and i remember thinking ok..... moment of truth what have i gotten myself into, but my nerves were soon settled when we walked off and it was like i had ridden him a million times before. He didnt put a foot wrong. Phew!

I would never have considered buying a pony unseen before speaking with Julie, and the confidence that she had that he would be fine for me put my mind at ease.

I am very happy with my new pony and cant wait to make him the superstar he can be.

I grew up riding horses competitively but due to reasons out of my control I was forced to give it up at 18. After 6 years of wishing & hoping that one day I could get back into it and always looking at horses for sale websites I stumbled across the 'Thoroughbreds Off The Track' website which is where I saw my gorgeous mare Cleo whom at the time was nameless and only went by her race name Grand Felony as Julie couldn't find a name that suited her! I spotted Cleo 3 weeks prior to actually picking the phone up and calling. This horse was the one that put the real fire back in my belly and with a push from my fiancee to live my dreams I made the call and despite the fact I was 5.5months pregnant Julie very happily heard my story of wanting to get back into horses and said that out of the horses she currently had in work and for sale Grand Felony was the most suited one to me and she told me all there was to know about her!
I was in love, a little nervous as I am on the Central Coast of New South Wales and Julie was near Toowoomba QLD so she was a sight unseen purchase but I completely trusted everything Julie said. She arrived 1.5 weeks later at night and we had a horse that was everything and more that Julie had told us about her.

6 months later we have a horse that is sweet, kind, willing and that will stay with us for the rest of her days and at only just 6 I am thrilled that it will hopefully be a long time. I cannot recommended Julie enough and have done to a number of people and I am always jumping back on the Tuilodge website to see what gorgeous animals have walked through her gates. If another horse catches my eye like Cleo did through Julie I know I will be straight back on the phone to her only to get a completely honest opinion.

She said to me on the phone that she will not allow dangerous horses with serious vices on her property as she doesn't have time for them and because she also has children helping around the property. For me that speaks volumes in itself!

We cannot thank Julie enough for her honesty and allowing us to purchase such a beautiful mare!
